Liebeslieder Walzer

At the heart of the Ring, an unusual recital with four exceptional soloists and two pianists lead you along the path of vocal music lovers. Liebeslieder Walzer, is a jewel of romanticism and draws on the spirit of the waltz and of popular music. Their charming tone expresses the state of the composer in love with Julie Schumann, daughter of Clara and Robert. It is normal that as well as Brahms’ lieder you would listen to those of Schubert and Schumann, who take up the baton of the one who is usually called the father of the lied. The latter loves poetry more than anything else. On the last page of Scènes d’enfants, he writes Der Dichter spricht... ("the poet speaks..."). Brahms, Listz, Wolf, Strauss and Mahler are Schumann’s children, as much as Schubert’s. This will be an eve- ning of poetry, charm, roaming…
